Scans a codebase for security vulnerabilities using CodeQL's interprocedural data flow and taint tracking analysis. Triggers on "run codeql", "codeql scan", "codeql analysis", "build codeql database", or "find vulnerabilities with codeql". Supports "run all" (security-and-quality + security-experimental suites) and "important only" (high-precision security findings) scan modes. Also handles creating data extension models and processing CodeQL SARIF output. It's a reusable SKILL.md instruction set that loads into your AI coding assistant on demand, no prompt engineering, no copy-pasting every session.

Run `npx @skills-hub-ai/cli install trail-of-bits-codeql` from your terminal. The CLI writes the SKILL.md to the correct location for your AI tool (e.g. ~/.claude/skills/trail-of-bits-codeql/ for Claude Code or ~/.cursor/skills/ for Cursor with --target cursor) and adds it to your project's .skills.json lockfile.
